The spa at Hacienda Las Trancas is run by a cooperative of women from the local village. They take great pride in their work, are a source of hope to this village, and revitalize our guests more than they imagined. Treatments include regular or deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, reflexology, cupping therapy, and several amazing facials. Treatment prices range from $20-$35 per session. We use the finest fresh ingredients and luxurious European spa products to supplement the fruits and essential oils. You will see and feel the difference!

Facials

We offer relaxing facials for mature, dry, normal, oily/acne, as well as rosacea-type skins. We combine fresh ingredients such as honey, yogurt, fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs, aloe, seaweed, nuts, seeds, oils such as olive, coconut, jojoba, almond, and apricot kernel, many harvested the same day specifically for you.

Our dual philosophy is simple: we use the best natural products side by side with state of the art facial products from Inspira, Dr. Hauschka, Skin Accents, Philosophy, Aubrey, Kate Sommerville, Burt’s Bees and more.

By combining science and nature, the benefits of both strategies are symbiotically compounded, leaving you the winner. Both our facials include the décolleté area, and are lovely affairs that pamper, soothe, and renew your skin.

Facial #1: “The Glow”

This is a one hour facial, specially formulated to facilitate lymph drainage, reduce puffiness and lines and visibly soften your skin. A series of herbal steam cleaning, Clarisonic cleansing, and mask treatment is followed by a facial cupping session. The ancient art of cupping, newly rediscovered as an incredibly beneficial facial, helps fill and tighten the skin, while aiding in lymph drainage and muscular tension. We do not recommend this facial for anyone who has had recent botox injections. Following the cupping treatment is a lovely aromatherapy facial massage, with rosewater spritz finishing off with a lovely cream designed for your facial type.

Facial #2: “Fresh!”

This is a one hour facial, specially formulated to cleanse, renew, and visibly soften your skin. Treatment begins with an old-fashioned herbal steam, cleansing with clarisonic high-frequency, then is followed with two amazing masks, one a natural fruit/yoghurt preparation, leading to the ‘cocoon’ peeling mask , which gently reveals a young, brighter complexion. This is followed by a lovely aromatherapy facial massage, with rosewater spritz finishing off with the perfect cream designed for your facial type.

Hot Stone Massage

1 1/2 hours. If you have never experienced a hot stone massage, you are in for an incredible treat. This soothing treatment combines a full-body massage, interspersed with amazing warmed and oiled smooth river stones which the therapists use to gently deliver warmth deep into your muscles, relaxing them in a way which even deep pressure often can’t accomplish. This is a favorite among our clients!

Full-Body Massage

1 hour. Using a variety of excellent oils, the therapist will adjust her pressure to your specifications, and can concentrate on any problem areas you are experiencing.

Happy Feet Reflexology

This is a one hour foot massage. Reflexology is an age-old treatment that is believed to assist the body in healing and
pain-relief. Focusing on points in the feet which correspond to organs in the body will help you feel energetic and relaxed at the same time! And it feels great.
